How you intend to use your canoe will be the most important consideration in making your decision.

All canoes are a compromise. You can have a very stable canoe that is slow and difficult to paddle, or a fast and narrow canoe that will not turn or carry a load.

Our goal, at BW Canoe Co., is to provide functional, durable and usable canoes. All of our canoes have "skid plates" built in, as well as reinforced stems. We build quality canoes at a fair price.

We have been building canoes since 1997 and we are members of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association and the Ely Area Chamber of Commerce.
