Our highly skilled craftsmen have taken a great amount of time to ensure that the canoe you purchased is of the highest quality.

Here are a few recommendations for keeping your canoe in good condition:

It is best to store your canoe out of the weather when not in use. If you have to store it outdoors, make sure it is out of the direct sunlight, off the ground and covered when possible. Tie it down to avoid wind damage.

Scratches are inevitable on any canoe. However, at the end of the season, a light 'scuffing' with fine sandpaper, followed with a coat of spar varnish will make your handcrafted canoe look like new.

The most important tip we can offer, is for you to enjoy your new handcrafted canoe at every opportunity! We've worked hard to build you a beautiful canoe, but please don't forget to get it in the water and enjoy paddling!
