Quality materials are expensive. We use only full length cedar strips and ash gunwales. There are no skarf or butt joints in my canoes!

Prices may change with the cost of material, but for now an 11' solo canoe will cost $1870. The 18 ½' is $3150. By far the most popular are the 17' canoes, currently selling for $2890. Minnesota residents pay 6.875% sales tax.

'Trapper' series canoes are intended for use by one person on quiet water. Sit or kneel in the center to keep your center of gravity low. They are fun to play with, and some folks enjoy hunting from them. Others have purchased the 11' model as decoration for their home or cabin. Lengths available are 11' - 14'.

The 'Superior' series is a very traditional design, copied from a Native American canoe in the 1800's. These canoes will handle big water and big loads, and are a pleasure to paddle. Let the kids play with it at the cabin. Go fishing, or take a two week trip. If you can have only one canoe, this is the one.

The 16' is the one to keep at the lake. But, if you choose, it will comfortably carry 500 pounds into your favorite wilderness getaway for a week of serenity.

The 17' is also an excellent all around canoe, and a 'best seller' with our customers.  Handles great empty or with a 600 pounds load. 34½" wide at the gunwale, the bow is 20" high and it is 13" deep at the center.

The 18 ½' is overkill for most of us. This would be a great canoe for two adults, two kids and the St. Bernard. Also, the canoe of choice for moose hunting.
